Let’s get real for a minute.  Fall is coming. It’s kinnnnnnda already here. GULP. It’s fleeting in these parts, but it’s glorious and beautiful. The Duluth area has some of the best sights and events to celebrate sweaters and boots weather! Take a look at what’s happening in September in the Northland. Many farmer’s markets are at their peak, and there are a lot of fun weekend events! Check out our free printable too!

Hill Top Farmer’s Market  | 4-7 pm.

Downtown Duluth Farmer’s Market | 11am -1 pm. Ends September 26th. 

UMD Market Day in the Plaza-  | 1:30-4:30pm. Ends September 28th.

Duluth Public Library Story Time    | 10:15 and 11:15am. Downtown Location.         

Superior Downtown Farmer’s Market-  | 11am-2pm.

Duluth Farmer’s Market-  | 2-6pm.

Duluth Public Library Storytime | 10:15 am preschool stories, Mount Royal Location.

Fridays:   

Pelican Coffee Story Time | 11am.

Saturdays:        

Barker’s Island Farmer’s Market  | 9am- 12pm.

September 15-17:  Hawk Weekend Festival Come see one of the best bird migrations in the nation. Check the website for all the classes and activities planned.

September 15-17:  Hot Air balloon Festival  An amazing sight to see hot air balloons on the shore of Lake Superior. See website for schedule, tickets and more details.

September 16:  22nd Annual Northshore Inline Marathon Have you ever wondered what it was like to skate down the scenic highway and freeway tunnels? Here’s your chance! See website for registration and details.

September 16:  Chester Bowl Fall Fest  10am-4pm. Join the community in food, vendors, music and more! See website for more info and parking details. 

September 17:  The Color Run™ Duluth  A fun paint race full of fun, color and friendship! Check out the website for registration.

September 19: National Healthy Lunch Day. Our Savior’s Lutheran Church will be serving a delicious and nutritious lunch 11:30-1 pm. 

September 21: 26th Annual United Way Chili Cook Off  With 40 different chilis to try, no wonder over 1500 people show up to see who’s is the best! See website for more info- deadline to enter chili has passed.
